A Data Infrastructure Approach to Critical Operations 

Course Overview

We BELIEVE People with DATA Can TRANSFORM THEIR WORLD.  OSIsoft, now part of Aveva, invites you to come share, listen, learn, and collaborate with your peers on the best practices and value driven from their operational data infrastructure within their respective utilities in Power Generation, Water and Transmission and Distribution as it pertains to Southern California.  Actual PI System implementation at multiple customers in the industry will be used to illustrate the operational data infrastructure. Come share your experience with your peers, learn more about what you can do with the PI System, and participate in basic and advanced OSIsoft training.  

Upon registering please select your audience level for Day 2 of the course. We will have two separate classes.

Basic: this lab is designed for people who already have already used PI Vision.  Students should already be familiar with how to create displays in PI Vision and understand how PI Vision is able to leverage AF Templates.

Advanced : This Lab offers you a wealth of best practices that will substantially improve your experience of the PI System. We will focus on Asset Framework (a.k.a. AF) and Asset Analytics, and we will use PI Vision to look at the consequences of adopting good and bad practices in AF modelling. We will work on AF using PI System Explorer (a.k.a. AF Client)
