Trading Controls: Creating a Deliberate Trading Environment

Course Overview

This course will cover all aspects of the controls placed around energy trading, including policies, procedures, people, and systems. There will be a focus on electricity and natural gas trading: both physical and financial. Topics will include energy trading and risk management systems, trade validation, review and reporting, and how to perform compliance monitoring for contracts, credit, trading authority policy, and hedge policy.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for any employees interested in the control environment around energy trading. Anyone who works in wholesale power and gas procurement, internal audit, or compliance should attend.
