Course Overview
Members of the technical staff who are promoted into leadership roles often feel that learning how to manage others is daunting. This unique, highly participative program makes a smooth transition to management simple and straightforward. It provides the opportunity to assess your leadership capabilities and “build on your strengths” to focus your talents into powerful management skills. In this program, participants will learn the latest leadership techniques from experienced professionals and industry leaders.
Who Should Attend?
Personnel of the technical staff who are promoted into leadership roles and/or considering becoming or are already performing as a supervisor, team leader, or manager.
For Los Angeles Department Water and Power employees - this program is designed for mid-level managers and above, who are responsible for overseeing subordinate supervisors; Technical supervisors who are promoted into managerial roles or are already performing as a mid-level manage.
